Danniella Westbrook speaks for first time about drug debt which led to 48 hour sex attack

Former EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook has opened up about a drug debt which resulted in her being kidnapped and gang raped.

Addressing the traumatising event for the first time, the 39-year-old reveals her ordeal lasted for 48 hours back in the 90s.

After being kidnapped for owing ‘silly money’ for cocaine, the actress who was at the height of her career at the time said: ‘They all raped me and took it in turns.’

The event, which is documented in her new autobiography, Faith, Hope And Clarity, occurred after the gang, to who she owed ?5,000, showed up at her house to try and claim it back.

But, unable to pay such a high sum she was kidnapped and taken to a ground-floor flat nearby.

Daniella reveals that she was then given drugs and alcohol for 12 hours straight before things took an even nastier turn.

She said: ‘I know all three of them did different things. Repeatedly. They all forced themselves on me.’

Unable to escape because she was too high on drinks and drugs, she admits she felt there ‘was no point resisting’.

She continued: ‘For them, a two-day drugs and sex binge. For me a life-time sentence. Each time I lay there and let them get on with it.

‘I tried to mask it out, tried to pass out. There was no point resisting. Not with three of them.’

Following the incident she was thrown on the street without any way to call for help and too scared to tell anyone she kept it a secret up until very recently, not even telling the police.

Like many victims she believed she was to blame for what happened because of her cocaine addiction – on which she thought she could have spent ?250,000 on over the years.

Her family only became aware of what had occurred earlier this year, ahead of the release of her book -Faith, Hope And Clarity- last week. 

Fortunately she tested clear for any STI’s and HIV but the incident has had a more lasting effect on her.

The born again Christian admits she still struggles to watch sex attacks on TV and she doesn’t think she’ll ever be able to completely forget what happened during those 48 hours.

Speaking recently about juggling her faith with her fame, the actress said: 'I have given my life to the Lord. If you had told me two years ago that I was going to be Christian, I would have laughed.

'I used to tell people, "I'm way past saving".

'But the first time I came to this church, I felt something so spiritual and amazing that I wanted to cry.'

The biggest fashion fail went to Miss Healey who looked like she was making a return to strictly Come Dancing in a bright orange ensemble.

While Chelsee was easily the winner of the worst dressed award, Tulisa did give her some competition with her own chav-tastic outfit.

After departing Tibu nightclub the pair, joined by rapper Mike GLC and a friend, headed home at around 6am.

Tulisa strangely appeared to have a piece of red tissue stuck inside her right shoe as they all stumbled home together.

The holiday comes as reports emerged that Tulisa and boyfriend Danny Simpson, who have been dating for six months, are said to have split after arguing in recent weeks.

A source told the Daily Star: 'Tulisa and Danny have been having problems for a while now and have been arguing a lot.

'They have been trying to work things out but Tulisa decided she’d had enough and didn’t want to fight for the relationship any more.

'It’s 100% over. It’s an amicable split with no hard feelings.'

A spokesperson for the singer was unavailable for comment on Saturday.

Danny and Tulisa, who got matching tattoos in February have not been seen together since April.

The break-up comes shortly after Tulisa revealed she would not be taking part in the X Factor and Danny is set to leave Newcastle United.

And in the wake of the break up Tulisa has jetted to Marbella to soak up some sunshine with friends.

Paul Hollywood has been told he will have to up sticks and move across the pond to the USA if he is to be with reported new love Marcela Valladolid.

A close friend told The Sunday Mirror: 'Marcela has made it clear what her feelings are for Paul and that her marriage is over.

'She is fascinated by what the future might hold with him. But she has made one thing clear – there are no plans to go and live in England.

'Marcela is fiercely ambitious and tends to get what she wants. Her only aim now is to be the most talked about female chef in America.'

Paul won viewers’ praise and support as the happily married presenter of Bake Off, but viewers have vented their disgust at his behaviour.

Hundreds of fans of the BBC show have now taken to the social networking site and other message forums to express their disappointment Hollywood has left his marital home and has been linked to Marcela Valladolid.

So appalled are they by his behaviour many have stated they don’t want him back on the show – leaving producers in a ‘tricky position’ over what to do.

A show source said: 'There has been a viewer backlash against Paul over these allegations. A lot of fans on Twitter and other sites are saying they don’t want him back.

‘This hint of scandal has put producers in a tricky position because it is a really wholesome show. Whatever the truth - I don’t know if people will look at Paul in the same way anymore.'

It wasn’t just TOWIE stars there though as Waterloo Road actress Chelsea Healey made an appearance.

The 24-year-old, who is known for her often wacky dressing, didn’t disappoint wearing a pair of cut off shorts which were undone. 

She teamed that with a white off the shoulder frilly top with a wide black elastic band around the centre.

Completing her look she left her curly hair loose and wore a pair of very high silver platform heels.
